Weekly Recap 9/19-9/25

This week was a lot of fun! I got to run a bit and although I didn't really increase my miles I felt stronger and I really was able to appreciate each and every mile.

Monday:
Rest Day

Tuesday:
I did 3 miles and I got to see the most amazing views, I felt great, and I realized how happy I was to be back running again.

I love living in a small town surrounded by farmland
Wednesday: 
4 miles, I also ran my strides at the end of this run 4x 100m. But I noticed that at work that day my ankle started to bother me.

Thursday:
I decided to take it as a rest day, my ankle was still bothering me and I didn't want to risk it. I tried to stay off my feet and really let it rest. I also wore and ankle brace and kept my feet up in the evening.

Friday:
3 miles, not my very best run but I felt good and my ankle felt ok and I was happy to be out on the road.

Saturday:
LSD day! My favorite. 6 miles kept the pace around 9:30-9:45 and I had no pain in my ankle! 

Mileage this week = 16

On an unrelated note I've had to take a few breaks while writing this post due to my German Shepherd farting. Its indescribable. I wonder if shes OK.....but dang. She's like a grown man who just ate Indian food for the first time. Pray for us. Gag.
